Safety

West Paw developed Seaflex material used in the No-Slip Bowl and Doggie Placemat to be safe to eat off of – BPA Free, Phthalate Free, Latex Free, & FDA Compliant

Any residual food can cause bacterial growth. We recommend a top rack wash or hand washing in hot water.  If the temperature boost in the dishwasher is not used, the bottom rack is perfectly fine, especially to allow people to use dishwashers for the mat.
