These are cow oesophagus (or food tubes). It is made of layers of muscle fibres between layers of fibrous tissue with an outer layer of connective tissue. This makes for a crunchy, boneless dog treat. Being part of the digestive tract, it has a distinct flavour that dogs are naturally attracted to and they love it. The chew wafers have been sliced open, layed flat and dried. Suitable for all dogs of all ages. A great indoor or outdoor treat as it is quite quick to eat.
